アッラー（神）の御名において、最も慈悲深く、最も憐れみ深い方の御名で

すべての人間は、アッラーの一体性を認識する自然な本能 ― それが私たちの「フィトラ」（fitrah）― を持って生まれます。これはアッラーが創造されたときに備わった純粋な状態です。私はイングランドでキリスト教家庭に育てられましたが、心は常にこの人生における私たちの目的について真実を求めていました。なぜここにいるのか、善と悪とは何か、この一時的存在の後に待っているものは何か、理解したいと思っていたのです。

私の旅はさまざまな宗教を学ぶことから始まりましたが、どれも求めていた明確さを与えてくれませんでした。思索とアッラーの導きによって、私は徐々に根本的な真理――唯一神が存在する、この人生は試練であり、最終的には創造主に帰るべき正しい人間になるよう努めなければならない――を認識するようになりました。

ある時期、すべての宗教は単なる人間の解釈だと信じていました。しかしアッラーは無限の知恵の中で、私の人生にムスリムの兄弟を送り、イスラム教を美しく簡潔に説明してくれました。ほんの数分で彼は真っ直ぐな道を照らしました：アッラーは私たちをただ祈るために創造し、預言者と神聖なる書物を送って導き、そして裁きの日には私たちの選択が問われるということです。真理を受け入れる者は楽園へ到達し、拒否する者は結果を受けるでしょう。

この明確さは私のフィトラと深く共鳴しました。イスラム教のメッセージは複雑ではなく、私たちの内在的な「タウヒード」（神の一体性）の理解を認め、創造主に喜ばれる目的ある生活を送るための完全な指針を提供します。私の改宗は自分自身を変えることではなく、アッラーが全人類に意図した自然な状態へ戻ることでありました。

この物語は、アッラーが望む者を真っ直ぐな道へと導くことを思い起こさせます。心を開いて知識を求め、精神的旅路で忍耐し、真の指針はアッラーからのみ来るという重要性を教えてくれます。彼が私たち全員を真実へと導き続け、私たちの心をその上に固めてくださいますように。

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Every human being is born with a natural disposition to recognize the oneness of Allah. This is our fitrah – the pure state in which Allah creates us. Though I was raised in a Christian family in England, my heart was always seeking the truth about our purpose in this life. I wanted to understand why we are here, what constitutes right and wrong, and what awaits us after this temporary existence.

My journey began with studying various religions, but none provided the clarity I sought. Through reflection and Allah’s guidance, I gradually came to recognize the fundamental truths: there is only one God, this life is a test, and we must strive to be righteous people who will ultimately return to our Creator for judgment.

For a time, I believed all religions were merely human interpretations. But Allah, in His infinite wisdom, sent a Muslim brother into my life who explained Islam with beautiful simplicity. In just a few minutes, he illuminated the straight path: Allah created us to worship Him alone, He sent prophets and divine scriptures to guide us, and we will be accountable for our choices on the Day of Judgment. Those who follow the truth will attain paradise, while those who reject it face consequences.

This clarity resonated deeply with my fitrah. Islam’s message is not complicated – it acknowledges our innate understanding of Tawheed (the oneness of God) and provides the complete guidance for living a purposeful life that pleases our Creator. My conversion was not about changing who I am, but rather returning to the natural state Allah intended for all humanity.

This story reminds us that Allah guides whom He wills to the straight path. It teaches us the importance of seeking knowledge with an open heart, being patient in our spiritual journey, and recognizing that true guidance comes only from Allah. May He continue to guide us all to the truth and keep our hearts firm upon it.
