イスラム教では、私たちは「聖霊」と呼ばれる別の存在が私たちの中に宿るという考えではなく、アッラー（神）が彼の神聖なる知恵と慈悲によって私たちを導くと信じています。私たちの信仰は、アッラーの指導がクルアーン――人類への最後の啓示―および預言者ムハンマド（彼に平安あれ）の教えを通して与えられることを教えてくれます。
異なる宗教的視点を振り返ると、神聖な導きを特定の集団や派閣に帰属させようとする際に混乱が生じやすいことがわかります。イスラムでは、本当の指針はパートナーも仲介者も伴わず、一人の神アッラーへの服従から来ると理解しています。クルアーンには次のようにあります：「アッラーをしっかりと抱きしめる者こそ、真にまっすぐな道へ導かれた」（3章101節）。
外部の霊的存在を求める代わりに、ムスリムは誠実な礼拝、アッラーへの思い出、そして彼の命令に従うことで清めと変容を得ます。私たちの心は祈り、慈善、断食、知識探求によって浄化されます。イスラムの美点は、仲介者や相反する解釈を必要とせず、創造主とその創造物との間に明確で直接的なつながりがあることです。
この考えは、真実を求める際に心と頭を開き、アッラーが望む者だけをまっすぐな道へ導くという信頼の重要性を思い出させます。私たちの役割は知識を追求し、深く省み、謙虚で誠実に霊的事柄に取り組むことであり、常に真の指針は慈悲深く賢明なアッラーからのみ来ることを覚えておくべきです。
In Islam, we believe that Allah guides us through His divine wisdom and mercy, not through a separate entity called the “holy spirit” dwelling within us. Our faith teaches us that Allah’s guidance comes through the Quran, His final revelation to humanity, and through the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
When we reflect on different religious perspectives, we see that confusion often arises when people try to attribute divine guidance to specific groups or denominations. In Islam, we understand that true guidance comes from submitting to the One God alone, without partners or intermediaries. Allah says in the Quran: “And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [indeed] been guided to a straight path” (3:101).
Rather than seeking external spiritual entities, Muslims find purification and transformation through sincere worship, remembrance of Allah, and following His commandments. Our hearts are purified through prayer, charity, fasting, and seeking knowledge. The beauty of Islam is that it provides a clear, direct connection between the Creator and His creation, without the need for intermediaries or conflicting interpretations.
This reminds us of the importance of seeking truth with an open heart and mind, trusting that Allah guides whom He wills to the straight path. Our role is to seek knowledge, reflect deeply, and approach spiritual matters with humility and sincerity, always remembering that true guidance comes only from Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Wise.
